Community Description
Construction is underway on the new LionsGate golf community, which lies north of 143rd Street and west of Nall in Overland Park. Builders have taken the first 100 homesites for build jobs and speculative homes, of which 80 back up to the new 7,081 yard Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. Homes in the first phase began construction in the fall of 2000. The developers of the LionsGate residential development said the Nicklaus golf course fits the established tone of LionsGate. "This golf course will be the only one of its kind in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It will mesh perfectly with the dynamic lifestyle of the existing LionsGate residential community."
